The first time I used this fog machine it was AMAZING! I was sooooo impressed with it. Perhaps I didn't clean it right away or as much as I should have but it never put out the amount it put out the 1st time. I still have the fog machine and it works, but it just doesn't have the force and amount that it use to. So my review is mixed. I have used it for 3 Halloween parties. One was great and the other two years were less than average. I recently cleaned it with distilled water and vinegar and that seemed to help. It's just not the same as when it came out of the box! So I say take your chance. If you get the fog machine that works like the one I got for my 1st party then you will be very happy. But if you get the fog machine I have now, you will be disappointed for spending [$]plus.

I just loved it, this is my third year of having it and it runs prefect. I use it for my parties and at weddings. You can buy smoke fluid that makes it smell really awsome. I just hope that it works just like mine did.

I bought this unit because I wanted a fog machine with a lot of fog output at a good price. I used the unit no more than 3 times a month for a year and had very good luck with it until the pump quit working right after my warranty was up. After contacting Chauvet about buying a replacement pump I was told that a new pump would cost $92 plus shipping. They recommended that I buy a new fog machine and use my old one for parts. Had this unit continued to work as it did for a year i would have been very pleased with my purchase, since it didn't I would not recommend this unit to anybody unless they only plan on using it for a short time.
