Compact and lightweight, the LED-fitted Kinta X can fill a room with sharp beams and more output and broader coverage than conventional derby effects. Floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall coverage is a snap with combinations of red, green and blue. The derby effect Kinta X is linkable to other X series fixtures that share the X Bracket, plus the LED Mushroom.

We really like this light. We use relatively inexpensive lighting for weddings, school dances, etc..., since in these venues clients have an apt to accidentally bump into the lights or spill something on them (regardless of their placing). This light has been our best fit; for occasions such as this. For the small amount of money you are investing in this product, I would say that you are getting 110% of your money's worth.

I had the original Kinta (non-LED) and loved the fact that it could fill any sized room, so I had to give the LED a try. I was not disappointed! The beams are bright and still fill large rooms.
I chose the Chauvet over the ADJ counterparts, b/c the ADJ fixtures aren't DMX and you can't master/slave link them.
The fixture is uber lightweight and it's nice that you don't have any bulbs to mess with!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have seen this issue with inexpensive LED lighting. We have placed the light closer to the speakers (placed it on top of the speaker, etc...) and it has helped tremendously.
