I bought two of these lights and found that both lights had extremely dirty lenses. I also had a quality control issue with one light where by right out of the box it didn't work so when I opened it up I found a small 2 pong connector hanging loose inside the unit. Once connected the light worked.

I use this for my mobile DJ serice. I use it with an America DJ Revo II. It's light weight, good lighting effects, but not as bright as I thought it would be.

These little lights amazed me when I hooked them up and took them for a test drive, they are super bright and throw a lot of beams.
A little different from the standard LED dot that a lot of LED lights produce, these lights and the LED Derby lights actually are more of a rectangle than the dot.
I have two of these lights and the Chauvet Double Derby hooked up in a Master/Slave configuration reacting to sound mode, They put on quite the show. Well worth the reasonable price on these.
I recommend picking up at least two of these.
(they do have a noticeable motor squeaking sound when no music is playing but start the music and you wont hear anything)

I have owned two of these lights for several months. One of the units is not working in that the green LED doesn't work. I noticed when opening the case that the green LED flickers but will not remain lit in operation. Are the LED's replaceable??Asked on 6/24/2012 by Floyd from PA1 answer

The LEDs can be replaced by the manufacturer. If the unit is still within its one year warantee you
may be able to have Chauvet replace or fix the unit free of charge. I would recommend calling them, Chauvets contact phone number is 954-929-1115.
