These are OK lights for those on a budget. I purchased 4 of these in 2009 all but one have an issue. The LED rows burn out, and work intermittently, not something I'd expect to happen with a product just over a year old. Chauvet was NO HELP when I called to get them repaired. I was told they would send replacements multiple times and never did. If you purchase, expect problems not only with the hardware, but with Chauvet's customer service.

I use the Par83 in a small stage system for a local band. I use this unit as a solo light as well as part of the front color wash. One for the left side of the stage and another for the right. (two rain 56 crossfire the middle) For the size and cost I cannot say enough good things about this light.

I putting a show together and this light are great, becuase using a dmx controller I can control the color and I don't have to deal with gels like other lights. They are small and they pack a punch with very bright leds.

This light is not meant to light up a large dance floor. It is, however, a great little accent light to add some color and motion to your smaller dance floor or party. Good for a mobile DJ as well to throw some cool (temp wise) light and action around the stage. I used DMX control and with it's low power and no heat, they were exactly what I needed. The daisy chained power cables really simplified powering them as well.

this is a great product for it's price. they are really bright. I have two in a big living room and they really turn the place around. The colours are good but not top end quality. Anyways i can't complain at all.
