I play music, DJ and screen tee shirts. I used one of these in an outdoor music festival vending tees and other goods.I used it to accent my black-light reactive tees with other lighting. It stood up to the damp evenings quite well. I am getting another to light up my practice area/playroom a little more. Nice light.

No doubt about it, this is a Bright blacklight. It works well and has a long powerful throw, however it doesn't spread really wide. You might want to think about getting 2 for medium and larger venues.

I use a couple of these for DJ jobs where I want some black light and cool effects. It works fantastic and is lightweight. I simply put these and a couple of other effects on a light tree on each side of the stage and we're off and running! Great for High School Dances!

I have compared different UV Blacklights and I chose this one because it looks great, does not need to warm up and covers a decent area. It has dip switches in the back so you can set it to stay on, audio flash or go through pre programmed patterns. I like the flash but it has to go through on/off patterns before it gets to the flash patterns, so I like it all on to provide a nice UV light. The darker the room the better of course. This light will project about 20' but it does need to point in the direction you need light because it does not project to the sides very well. If you need to cover a large dance floor then you will want two of these. I do not use DMX, I just turn it on when needed. I have been using one, but I am already wanting a second one for the other side of my light tree. The purple color is a nice change and looks good with the mirror ball on too. The LEDs are covered with a layer of plastic to protect them but I would consider it a fragile light. If you get two, then pack them with the fronts together to protect them. Another nice LED light!
