Comments about DBX 231 Dual 31 Band 1/3 Octave EQ W/ XLR & TRS:
Because of theft, had to put a FOH rack together in a hurry with limited funds. The EQ's were okay, but it took time to tune the monitors. Was never satisfied with the sound.
Replaced them with the DBX 231's. At the first show, said something in a mic, went to the FOH rack, cut a few frequencies, talked in the mic, cut one more, I was done. The monitors sounded natural, no feedback during the show, The band never asked for anything. It is very cool to go that quick and easy. I'm able to get what the bands need while running the EQ's mostly flat, with only a few small notches, In most cases. I'm happy with them.

Comments about DBX 231 Dual 31 Band 1/3 Octave EQ W/ XLR & TRS:
We run two of these at our club, one for the house system, and one for monitors. They work alright, we've had some nights where we go and flick the switch to turn them on, and nothing. We check all the cables and still nothing. Then the next night, they work fine. Not exactly a good thing when we have celebrities comming through and we cant fire up our sound system. For DJing though, these would be more than enough since it's not a nightly deal.
