I use this equipment as a part of my PA system, because is a great unit, has everything, EQ, Crossover for tow or three ways the best ot all is that you can move the frecuencies where you need it, compressor, limiter, bass expander, filters, can be set it throw usb software, and the best of all, don't brake your pigy bank.
To be a complete unit, just need a on off siwtch.

Does everything I could ever want it to do with ease. Sound is crisp and clear with crossover, limiter, eq and compressor easily set with the pink noise or ata setting. Just find your gear in the presets and go, it's that easy. If you are serious about the way your rig sounds you need this.

Driverack was designed for one purpose. To consolidate several single space units (EQ, Compressor/Limiter, Feedback Eliminator, Crossover, Real Time Analyzer) into one user-friendly unit. If the speakers and amps you use are stored in the preset section of PA+, setting up a multi amp system that utilizes top cabinets and subs is a joke. If you are one of the unlucky ones like I am, it admitadly takes more reading, but never the less is a necessity to have. What I mean by that is you woule have to educate yourself on the root function of these forementioned components when buying them separately anyway. So why get this? First off its cheaper than buying units separately and secondly it comes with tech support and gives you the results you would expect from quality components (totaling over $1300). My motivation for writing this review comes from the headache I had selling all my former FOH units, only getting a fraction of my investment back, and having to buy a smaller rack. For me this unit manages 4 CVP-2153's and 2 TS-42's all being run by 4 QSC RMX 2450's one QSC RMX 5050. The only drawback is that it does not manage your monitor mix, but for sound reinforcement systems my size and smaller its not an issue. Usually you will be running 16 channels of mix or less and using only 2 aux sends for the foldback. The wattage of those monitors (250 RMS or less) is not going to be loud enough to involve serious ring-out (the RTA function)in most situations; providing that you use quality mics (Shure Beta 58A or better).

True audiophiles will appreciate the complexity of this device. I was expecting to plug it in, push a button and the processor would auto balance the EQ. Instead I spent an hour fiddling with it because none of my equipment was in the preloaded lists. The kicker was to find the RTA mic (critical for auto-operations & pink noise balancing) isn't included!!! I expected better from a unit retailing for [$]
