Pioneer DJM-350 2 Channel Mixer with EFX and USB

The DJM-350 mixer inherits similar functions and operability of the popular Pioneer DJM series of mixers often experienced in the club scene. The mixer is equipped with four kinds of effects as well as an isolated 3-band equalizer—all of which allow the DJ to make a one-of-a-kind mix. The front USB port allows users to record their DJ mixes onto USB mass storage devices, check their own mix and take it with them to listen on other devices.

Highlights of the DJM-350 include:
  • Directly Record to USB Devices – Users can conveniently record their DJ mixes directly to a USB storage device via a USB port (Type A) located on the face of the mixer without having to use a computer or recording device. Recorded DJ mixes are saved as WAV files, allowing them to be imported for playback on a PC or other portable audio players.
  • Four Types of Effects - The DJM-350 is equipped with four types of effects, enabling users to further enhance remixing capabilities: Filter - Greatly alters the tonal quality of the music by removing audio from the high or low frequency bands/ Crush - Accents sound by moderately crushing it/ Jet - Applies a jet plane taking off or landing to the music/ Gate - Alters the rhythm of a track by cutting the range which characterizes the rhythm component
  • Isolated 3-Band Equalizer - The mixer features a built-in 3-band equalizer (isolator1 type) that allows a broad range of independent level control, from +9dB to - (cut) in each of the HI, MID & LOW ranges.
  • Digital Conversion - Analog signals are converted into digital form via high-performance CPU for higher fidelity sound. In addition, analog and digital circuits are isolated to minimize induced noise.
  • Other features include: MIC/AUX input terminals for connecting portable audio players and/or microphones/ A Pioneer CDJ player can be used as a fader, start or play functions via a link to the fader control/ Peak level meters indicate the input levels of each channel/ Crossfader Curve Adjustment function makes it possible to adjust the crossfader2 curve

Does this mixer have a Booth Output ?
redsoxfan on Aug 30, 2010
BEST ANSWER: the DJM-350 does have an output for a booth, yes. :)
Does this mixer have a Hi/Lo filter?
A shopper on Apr 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question on the DJM-350. By looking underneath the "Trim" knobs on each channel, you can see 3 other controls that manipulate "High", "Mid", and "Low". This is how you can choose your filtering and customization. There is also a "Filter" effect on the Master Output, and "High" and "Low" controls on the microphone input. So yes, filtering is possible.
If you are looking for a mixer that features "Kills" that automatically cut a range of frequency, or a "high-pass/low-pass" filter effect, you might want to look at other options.
Does this mixer include rack ears to accommodate a DJ coffin with a 19 inch space for the mixer?
Matt B on May 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, it does not. It is designed to be used in a 10-12 inch mixer well. Rack ears for larger compartments are not included. Hope that helps.
does this mixer work well with turntables? is this mixer good for scratch Dj's?
null on Feb 26, 2012
BEST ANSWER: This Pioneer mixer is great product! It definitely work well with turntables, cdj's or anything. For scratch djs, I would recommend setting the crossfader at it's sharpest setting.

Great For The Beginning Bedroom DJ
Pros: Versatile,Excellent Sound,USB Recording,Easy To Use,Compact
Cons: Limited Number Of Effects

I'm a bedroom DJ who has been DJing for a couple of years with all sorts of equipment. This mixer is great for the beginner DJ and the more advanced user. Although there are only 4 effects to choose from, Pioneer has given you enough of the good FX to get you started (Gate, Jet/Phaser, Bitcrush/Crush and Filter).

The built in USB recording is definitely great since you can record mixes to USB stick and just plug it into a laptop to share with the world. This is also great for those beginner DJs who can just record their mixes and listen out for ways to improve.

The build quality is great and solid with the channel faders having a nice feel to them and the sound is what you would expect form Pioneer. Perhaps the only gripe I have with mine is that the mixer goes into standby mode when there is not audio sent through it. The standby mode can be removed but the manual seems a bit confusing when explaining this feature. It would have been great if there was a light of some sort to indicate the different time intervals for the standby mode so I know what amount I'm switching to.

Overall a great product and solid Pioneer quality! Took out one star for the limited choices of effects (compared to the DJM-400) but it's actually quite minor if you don't use effects much anyway.

Pros: Compact,Easy To Use

The basic functions are easy to use and the unit is easy to set up. I'm only using it at home right now, but I hope to use it for some gigs down the road.
