The Connector outer case will tweak or bend pretty easily, and even letting the cable lay outstreched in the sun will not allow the cable to relax.

One expects a cable to work first time, as soon as the package is opened. But many times, especially with DMX cable, this isn't necessarily the case. I'm very pleased that ALL of the cables that I purchased through PSSL worked without a hitch (I also bought 5', 10', 50' and 100' cables). I expect I'll be buying more relatively soon.
