I was getting weird signals to certain fixtures in the long DMX chain and bought this to hopefully fix the problem. It didn't change a thing. Anomolies continued after installing the terminator.

The Terminator is used at the end of our DMX Chain to stop the signal. It has worked great since the day we put it in. It's pretty cheap, and can save you a lot of time and headaches.

Is this XLR female to XRL female?
I've searched other places on the web and can't really figure out what both connector sides are...I see one side is XLR Female by the image, but whats the other one?

This is a terminator which is used at the end of a long DMX cable run to keep signal impedence at the proper level. It has only one end with 3 pin xlr male. The other side is closed.Answered on 10/14/2010 by Louis from PSSL
