Comments about Denon DN-HC1000S Serato Scratch Live Controller:
I am using this with a TTM57 SL so many of the functions are duplicated but having all the samples and cue points with the tap of a button is great. If you are using a box instead of a 57-SL mixer, this is a priceless add-on. If you have a 57-SL mixer, it is a great add-on too.

Comments about Denon DN-HC1000S Serato Scratch Live Controller:
awesome piece, it was almost imposible to use the keybord and the CDjs to DJ. This piece makes LOOPS, samples, even locating music a breeze.
Absolutely amazing, great build quality. Buttons are assignable however a little tricky and can take some time. I would just keep it stock.
Recomended by me.

Great product but hard to mount 19 inch racks. If running Serato in INT mode there is no start/Stop Button, you might have to use the mouse or keyboard. Works great in REL mode.

Comments about Denon DN-HC1000S Serato Scratch Live Controller:
The Denon DN-HC1000S is going to go EVERYWHERE my Serato (Scratch Live) goes! Now, I'm a novice, so that probably means staying at home; but, still, that's how much I like it. It fits perfectly as an extension of my laptop on an Odyssey stand, and it makes things SO EASY! Adding it to my setup did the equivalent of adding a $1,300 Rane mixer (with built-in Serato), and it did it for only [$]! On top of that, the Denon's setup is more easy and intuitive than the Rane mixer's. Even if I did shell out for the Rane mixer, I'd still use the Denon DN-HC1000S to interface with Serato. You really have to know what you are doing to use the Rain mixer to its full potential, and it takes work to get that knowledge. I DJ for fun, not work. I'm not sure if I am even close to THIS thing's full potential either; but I do know that it has made discovering new things about Serato less work and more fun! I'm all about using technology to make life easier and recreation better. That's why I love Serato, and now why I love this!

Comments about Denon DN-HC1000S Serato Scratch Live Controller:
I just picked this up as I do a lot of club and dabble in mobile gigs. This this is just awesome. It's tiny, yet a good weight so that it's durable and for anyone utilizing a mouse or keyboard FORGET ABOUT IT. Get this thing and you're virtually hands free. You plug it in and GO. I was doing tricks less than 2 minutes after I plugged it in that I honestly didn't know how to do before. I would recommend this to ANY Serato DJ and honestly would have paid $300 for it.

Q:
I am looking at this controller. I have an Ecler mixer that's 10" wide, and have a laptop stand currently attached between two turntable cases. However, I need a stand that can accomodate both my 15" MacBook Pro and the DN-HC1000s controller. What recommendations do you have for laptop stands sold through PSSL? Thanks!Asked on 10/30/2011 by Big Daddy V from California1 answer
A:
We offer many different styles of laptop stands. The "Uberstand" by Stanton would be a good choice for your setup. Please call 1800-268-5520 if you have any questions.Answered on 10/31/2011 by Rishi from Cypress, CA
