-reads files on your usb drive fast
-reads all my cds and does not skip
-can easily switch music formats from cd-usb-pc though the player rarely freezes if you take to long to switch formats

I own this CD player, but calling it only a CD player does not even begin to do it justice! I love that I can plug in a flash drive or external Hard Drive and play my tracks from those sources as if it were a CD! There are a ton of nice features on the DN-S1200 and was worth every penny!
