The Denon DN-T645 is a professional CD player and cassette player/recorder housed in a single 3RU rack-mount chassis. It is the enhanced version of the new DN-T625 and includes many new features and enhancements over its popular predecessor the DN-T620. Added features include RS-232C/RS422A serial control, CD-RW playback, shock memory, Dolby C noise reduction, Dolby HX Pro, CD text and split level mono XLR output for input level matching to mixing boards.
Designed for churches, schools, restaurants and a variety of other music-source applications, the DN-T645 allows users to create their own recordings from disc to cassette, or mix sounds from both sources. The TRS mic inputs provide for live sound recordings and mixing capability. A switchable mic AGC control is also provided. High speed auto reverse has also been added to reduce lag time between tape direction change.These options are perfect for custom-made background music or pre-recorded announcements.
An added benefit for background music or backup music applications is the ability of playing MP3 recorded discs. This allows for hours of playback from a single CD disc. The DN-T645 also has a 25 pin GPI contact closure port for easy integration into sound control systems. Fader start is also included. Functions on the CD player include a variable pitch of +/- 12% of playback speed, A-B Repeat mode, Single/Continuous Playback mode and a Back Cue feature. A Rotary Control Knob allows for quick track access as it offers 1x/10x control. Digital SPDIF output has been added to the array of back panel connectors along with sync and cascade control for use with multiple DN-T645 units. Digital servo adjustment for the unit's CD player has been automated so that the optimum setting is always obtained for the type of CD being played, compensating for any changes occurring in the pickup over years of use.
