Comments about Denon DN-X1100 4 Channel DJ mixer:
This is my third Denon mixer; I owned the DN-X300 and had the DN-X100 as a back-up Mixer. This was by far the best mixer of the three; I love the push button cueing for each channel, and the channel faders as well as the cross fader are both top notch. The previous reviewer did not like the attached power cord; this was not an issue for me or even a problem that I minded. My two previous Denon mixers had removable cords with the giant power converter on the cable. These were a huge nightmare to hide and where the cord attached to the mixer it used the old phone jack connector that you had to be worried about that could break. To me the attached plug was an improvement and one less headache to be concerned with. I used this mixer straight out the box the first big event after I purchased it; never connected gear to it until that night and I was able to pick up how to use it without a lot of fumbling around.

Comments about Denon DN-X1100 4 Channel DJ mixer:
This mixer is very accurate and powerful. I have owned this mixer for about 3 weeks. I've used it the past 3 weekends. smooth sliders,i really like the mic 3 band EQ, and volume fader control is unique.I studied everything about this mixer before I purchased it,I would have given it 5 stars, however in the specs and pictures it is clearly stated this model has a detachable power cord, the mixer I received has the cord attached. all my gear is kept in flight cases, i set these on top of a coffin table and I have all my wires hidden in this coffin box. I pull out wires, place cases on top,and attach power cords. now i need to balance mixer case while running power cord in coffin then finally continue with my regular setup. All dj's know that messing with a good setup routine really sucks. I called pssl with my problem they told me to call Denon to ask if they made a mistake. I didn't feel i should need to call denon about a mistake that was so obvious, but i did. Denon was not aware of the change.I called pssl back with my findings, and i asked about another mixer that cost a little more then the Denon. It was not in stock and would need to be ordered and received in about a week, however the mixer would need to be returned before it could be ordered. this put me in a bad spot because as i mentioned before i needed it immediately the next three weekends. I was not offered any other suggestion, I decided to stay with the inconvienient mixer. If this was caused by an oversight on my part i would not feel disgruntled,
but this was clearly an error on the part of Denon for not being aware of changes to thier products, and pssl for not knowing the specs of thier stock. I have purchased all my gear from pssl, my purchase history will show that. And i did not feel like a valued customer. I was not going to write a review but you asked so here it is. the mixer is a good mixer, but mislabled specs can cause the most thorough buyer much inconveinience, I will still buy from pssl, but I don't know how to be sure of what i am buying if the manufacturers are not even aware of thier own specifications.
