The Denon DND4500 CD/MP3 professional dual CD player is the successor of the award winning DND4000 and offers many expanded features especially in the area of MP3.If you re ready to spin it like a pro this rackmount dual controller with separate rackmount drives is exactly what you need.

Many of the DND4500s expanded features support both CD and MP3 such as key adjust auto BPM counter and cue stutter. Two hot starts and seamless loops are also now available for MP3 in addition to CD usage; the B point of the loops can be easily adjusted on the fly. The hot starts can be used as stutter points as well. The DND4500 boasts wider pitch control for audio CDs: 24 50 and 100 supplement the standard range of 4 10 and 16. MP3 pitch control is now offered in the range of 4 10 and 16. Shockproof memory is provided for both CD 20 seconds and MP3 100 seconds. Two way pitch bend is available traditional buttons or jog wheel at up to 99. Each drive features an ergonomic 50 mm jog/shuttle ring that can control either pitch bend or scan quick jumps and frame search. Enhanced MP3 support includes frame search MP3 hot starts/seamless looping ID3 tag display for artist title and album support for constant bit rate and variable bit rate decoding up to 320 kbps and a powerful MP3 File Search System that can quickly and easily locate hundreds of files and folders.
Powerful CD features include a memo function which can store cue point Playback pitch and range pitch on/off key sdjust On/Off and seamless loop A and B data for later recall. Up to 1000 points can be saved or recalled from either drive. The brake effect time is now useradjustable and CD Text support is available. The convenient power on play feature allows for unattended playback on power up ideal for bars clubs restaurants and nightclubs at opening time. Unattended relay play is possible between the drives with useradjustable crossover time an excellent feature for smooth uninterrupted playback during cocktail hour or in banquet halls. Denon has made searching much easier with the new Quick Jump feature which can precisely jump within a track in userdefinable increments of 10/20/30/60 seconds. I've had two of these units for several seasons now. And ZERO problems to speak of! Extremely functional with all the features needed to beatmix. Good intermediate deck, but no sound effects or scratching capabilities. Looping is perfect, button response is very fast which comes in handy for "dropping in" or "stuttering". Both the drawers and controller take on 2 spaces each, really helpful if you're like me and have a really crowded rack! MP3 is great, but a little slower. Still you can access ALL the features as with an audio track, pitching/bending, BPM, looping, etc. Heck if you want MORE, get the new HC-4500 MP3 controller and hook your laptop, external drive or IPOD in. You won't find this feature with any other deck! This deck isn't cheap, but you DO get what you pay for!Simply put, if you're a mobile who likes to beatmix, loop or just be professional with your basic mixes, this is what you need. Ok so you DO need the extras, step up to the [$]...and add scratching and effects! About to add another to my third rig, that should tell you something!
