Comments about Denon DND6000 Dual CD Player:
I Have used the Denon DN-D6000 for about 5 months now and would never go anywhere with out it. This IS A MUST HAVE. I Work in a club where we play all sorts of music from country, rock, top 40 dance and techno/Trance. The Platters are a bit small and could be a hair larger but the pitch lock and effects are one of a kind. I also do many mobile gigs as well and have a pair for that too. If you need a larger platter go for the S1000's but if you need a compact dual cd unit, this is perfect.

Comments about Denon DND6000 Dual CD Player:
This is a great Cd player from Denon. I've had one for 2 years now. Great features!
Cons: Real finicky when used with Denon x300 mixer and metal rack rails. Have to turn the CD player on first, then the mixer or the left bay freaks out and won't boot up properly.
And the Jog Discs don't perform as well as I'd like them to. Feel like toys.

Comments about Denon DND6000 Dual CD Player:
I've had this for a short while and do admit that I haven't spent as much time with it as I need to. I've run it through most functions and features though.
Truly realistic sounding digital effects and very rugged quality make this near perfect for the club & live remix DJ. The "platter wheel" works great, though I needed a bit too hard a finger pressure to activate it for my taste.
I'm a Wedding DJ (used to be club DJ for 20 years)and am diasppointed that this feature packed unit does NOT have a disc program capability like my old Numark CDN88 (that I accidentally burnt up). I've looked...I can't find it!
The many buttons with multi-functions, depending on what parameter is set for them, can be confusing and intimidating for the novice, but plenty of play-time with it should make for rapid manipulation of the seemingly endless features.
The MP3 function worked good but I noticed it does not allow the time display to read time remaining...it counts up, which requires the DJ to know how much time a song has left. Not too important for the beat mixer (since most will mix out of tracks well before they end) but is valuable for the DJ that does not beat mix. If it does have this feature, it's hidden in a sub-menu I have yet to find.
I do notice that the sound quality from the DND6000 is slightly better than the Numark CDN88, giving the music a better depth and overall dynamic range.
If you are a "live" DJ and need total control over the track for heavy remixing with realistic turntable effects/emulation, this unit is very hard to beat and highly recommended.
If you rely on programming tracks on a disc for continuous play (example: to play a sequence of songs while you're out on the dancefloor interacting/leading the crowd, or having to use the restroom)--rather than just letting the disc play through--this is not the unit for you.
Denon has hit another homerun with the DND6000 for the "live" remix DJ...but comes a bit short for the "programming" DJ.

Comments about Denon DND6000 Dual CD Player:
a little more than i wanted to spend, but it's completely worth it, effects are great, loops, everything. the only thing that can be improved is on the mp3 response time, but other than that i love it!
