The MC3000 DJ controller from Denon DJ is an affordable professional MIDI controller for Virtual DJ, packaged with Virtual DJ LE and fully optimized for Native Instruments TRAKTOR 2 Technology Inside products.
4 Deck control and a high-quality internal soundcard at an affordable price means the new MC3000 Professional DJ Controller is suited for both the Bedroom DJ as well as those wanting to move onto a more professional setup. Featuring the Layer Function for Dual Deck and 2+2 4-channel mixer control manages to keep functionality but maintain an uncluttered and ergonomic layout.
Line to master gives the option of 2 analog line input mixing control so a variety of external players can be connected and used alongside a Mac or Windows PC - great for handing over to the next DJ after a set without interrupting the flow of music.
The quality of the high resolution, 105mm touch-sensitive jog wheels and the smooth 60mm long pitch slider (with 14-bit resolution) is evidence that the Denon DJ build quality and reliability is still present even at this more affordable price point.
Complete with file browse navigation keys and rotary encoder file selector knob, 8 (4+4) hot cue buttons with layer bank selector key, powerful shirt key for various dual button operation, large size Cue and Play buttons, and the inclusion of Denon "Legacy" Pitch bend keys proves that this is a serious, professional, DJ controller.

Comments about Denon MC3000 4 Deck DJ Controller:
This product is great. I have been a professional DJ since 1998. I think that Denon has found a great pricepoint with no sacrifice on quality. You will not be sorry if you purchase this product. This thing is made of metal and can take a beating. This is not cheap plastic like some other devices under $500.00. The buttons feel great and the knobs and faders are compliant to the Virtual DJ software, which comes bundled with this. I have used this at different venues and it has never failed. I run it on a MacBook Pro. You can run an external device through the machine, but without midi control, which is my only gripe. I did purchase a Pioneer DDJ-Wego, but I sent it back because it seemed more for a beginner DJ and it was all plastic. Overall, I say that is a quality addition to your setup and great piece of DJ Kit.

Comments about Denon MC3000 4 Deck DJ Controller:
Considering it's a step down from the flagship MC6000, this controller has more than what you need to get crowds moving. It's a beast! All metal heavy, does not feel like a toy. It feels like a machine. All metal, the knobs are smooth, faders have the right feel. The channel faders are a little heavy. The only issue I had was that I wanted to use my Audio 6 as a sound card while using his and couldn't do it. The headphones and master level are not midi. The reason they do this is because this also acts as a mixer. You can run CDJ's or another laptop and use this as the mixer. The sound is hard on this thing, but the volume is on high all the time on the program. So you might have to eq it right. Overall I'm in love.

You can't use another sound card with this controller. I wanted to do the same with my audio 6, and found out the hard way. The controller does not control the headphone volume or cue or master levels in the program. It controls the volume as if it was a thru mixer with the volumes in the programs (traktor, VDJ) all the way up. So if you try to use another sound card, you can't control the output or headphone mix volume. Unless you split the out put to two channels. The controller only has a balanced RCA and two unbalanced 1/4". So basically it's a one channel output machine.
