for halogen lamp the product does wait is suppose to do. just wish it was led so the hours could be longer then 75hours.
I will say the halogen lamp are at least low in price were you can replace them if you have to. And you will have to replace them.
Little trick i learned ( let the light cool down while bulb is off before you unplug the light or shut off the power to the light.) this little trick will safe some hours on your lamp.
I use this for stage lighting for rock bands and this works great; if you need a spot light lamp on stage.
