I've had my I-25's about 2 years. I use them 8 times a month. After about 5 months the twitter went out in one. Got it repaired and a few weeks later, the other one shut down. Found out that the EV's(I-25)has very low tolerance for feedback. The twitters are expensive to replace compared to other speakers that i use. But after I eliminated the feedback problem, the speakers have and still do kick butt. As long as you stay within the power ratings, you are good to go with these babies.

I just bough me a pair of these bad boys and I love them. They sound great. Have crisp clean highs and mids all while thumping your chest with amazing bass. I am a mobile dj so the only downfall to these speakers is the size and wieght. They are slightly over 100 pounds so until I can afford a trailer for myself, I need help loading them into my van. I currently power the pair with a QSC GX-5 amp. Between gigs I store them in my basement so when friends come over to watch movies, I just plug these babies in. You can bet the walls shake.

WOW, I got these in 2 days ago and I can only say that they are huge, loud, and have the best sound quality, I mean you can turn these up and they don't even flinch. I'm driving them with the new QSC GX 5 and it puts out 700 to 800 each side and i never put these pass 400 - 500 watts each side because my ceiling lights started to flicker!!
They are just waiting to get some real power and i cant wait to see how the take it.These have power but i don't understand why mine didn't come with the metal corners???

I have been using this cabinet for DJing and Sound Reinforcement for a while, and I have to tell you that no cabinet I have used has been as amazing to work with as these. I’ve used these side-by-side with Carvin TRX-153B’s and Cerwin Vega PSX-253’s (both are 3-Way speakers), and the i25’s have out-played them both, in bass, midrange, and high frequencies. If you want a speaker that will put out a lot of sound in a truly remarkable (and affordable) package, there is nothing better than these EV’s!

I've had the I-25's for about 9 months QSC plx3402 driving them, they take the abuse that my amp sends out, just about everything the amp has too 1100w @ 4ohms theese speakers were rated at 600w@4 ohms and i clip the hell out of the amp, ive replaced both drivers though, first one blew and second one faded out, other than that they sound amazing, i've done 800+ proms with them,

Love the speakers,but after using them around the sixth time a tweeter in one speaker totally stopped working on me. Will fix and continue using . They really do have a good combination of highs and lows but not alot if mids. If you like crisp high with alot of bass without a floor sub it is the speaker to go with!!!!!
