[...] told me that this would indeed work with my Chauvet 56 Rain LED lights so I purchased the unit. IT DOES NOT WORK WITH THESE CHAUVET LIGHTS. I contacted American DJ that makes these Elation Controlers and after going over many things over the phone they tell me that either I need to buy American DJ lights or a Chauvet Controller. Now I have to eat the shipping costs to ship this unit back. I'm not a happy camper.

This unit is AWESOME. Nice small size and can handle a bunch of DMX lights. I use 2 now and can upgrade for a while now. The 1st time set up took a bit but after that, this unit is The Greatest.

This controller appears to have all that I need. I was shopping for a basic model. Now it could just be a defect or a malfunction but the controller that I have does not allow you to switch between modes on the fly very easily. I find that I have to turn the unit off and on again to reset and start over. If it was working properly it would be a good value.
