This is a great light for the price. I do mostly stage productions and this has a fantastically wide throw which is perfect for what I do. It was not near a bright as LED's but it makes up for it in the degree of throw which is hard to find for the price in LED's. Overall a great light for the price.

This won the award for best light in 200? (not sure exactly of the year) Really good light for the money. Most others in this price range...well there really AREN'T any good black lights in this range! Most other lights with a higher output are really heavy because of the step up transformer. This one DOESN'T have one, so it's much lighter for mobile DJs. My only beef is the "fugitive" one arm bracket. They do have a little weight and I'd prefer the full bracket on the older model. Don't expect to cover a large room with just one either! They're only 100w, again anything larger will be heavy and cost more. Also since these don't require starter capacitors, you simply flip the switch and boom they're on. Hook them into a "bump button" controller and you get a cool strobing effect with your guests. (yeah in a dark room they WILL notice)
Keep in mind these are BLACK LIGHTS and just like in the '70s, don't work well unless your room is really dark. Even the highest output lights don't work well in a bright room! Cool effect, reasonably priced, instant on and light weight. Go with a pair and I think you'll be happy with your choice!

I had high hopes for this product. The truth is, it just was not bright enough for the venues that I wanted to use it in. In small (very dark) environments it is fantastic. If you are looking for a compact, low wattage and minimal heat this just might be good enough for you.
