I used this for all the gigs i have even tho i had back to back gig like morning and another one in the evening wow this one rock solid i love it .
This is what all the mobile dj's wanted easy setup/light weight/compact/does not burn out light so often/good beam throw very wide/ i had this kind of light since 2006 and i havent had a burn bulb up to now even tho i purchase spare bulbs.
There is nothing not great about this product it is really great even the price is affordable too.

Biggest Bang for your Buck!
Pros: Easy Setup,Bright,Long Beam Throw
Cons: Runs Hot

The mushroom or Vertigo (ADJ Brand) has been the standard for entry level DJ lighting. Since it's introduction, many companies now make this fixture. The Eliminator brand is the cheapest, but still has the quality of the other lights priced [...] more. Even though fan cooled, it has 2 300w lamps and will get warm. So don't plan to run this during your whole show! Bottom line if you want a great light and aren't sure which brand to pick, the Eliminator E-109 will save you some money and still deliver the bang you're looking for!

Old Technology But a Must Have!
Pros: Bright,Easy Setup,Long Beam Throw,Good With Or Without Fog
Cons: Runs Hot

It gets got and the bulbs will need replaced eventually. However, this bright, room-filling, energetic light is a must have. LED lights in this price range produce boring dots in different shapes and, without fog, are boring and not very bright.

This light has very wide coverage, is super bright so it doesn't need fog (although it's even better WITH fog, and will wake people up. The sound active function, when dialed in well with the adjustment knob, works great. It's an old light design, but is still great.

It gets hot, so don't touch it, and let it cool down once in a while. Like any light, you can overuse it, so, don't bore people by having ANY light run more than a couple minutes at a time. For that reason, the duty cycle does not bother me.

If I could improve the light, I'd give it an option to run the fan without the lights on to allow it to cool faster. As it is, you just plug it in and it starts working, so, you need to have it on a switch to turn it off and on. I'd prefer a seperate cord that could power the fan all the time. (That may be a modification I make with a 12-volt transformer on a seperate power cable...)

The only other minor concern is that the power cable isn't detachable. I can deal with that.

Don't run it too long without a break, don't touch it while it's hot, and let it cool before you move it to help with bulb life, and you and your audience will enjoy it.

Not so great...
Pros: Easy Setup,Bright
Cons: Runs Hot,Burns Out Quickly,Inefficient

I bought 2 of these lights and I was upset with how they eneded up. I used one at my gigs, and kept the other as a back up. Good thing I did because the fan gave out only 2 months after i started using the first one, so i opened up the second and found that the fan worked, but there was a short in the housing for the light bulbs, so it was of no use to me. The E-109 is a good light as far as the effect goes, but I would question the quality of how it is built to last.
