This light bar is light weight and very good for small venues. I pack it in a golf hard case and can set it up and tear it down in less than 5 minutes.

Comments about Eliminator Par 38 Portable Lighting Package:
We use this in a party band setting. It is a quick and easy system to set up and transport. We use it to highlight the band so we don't need it for long throws. Best part about it is you don't have to shell out a ton of money to get a solid light weight small package like the LEDs. Great Buy!

I bought these instead of the LED version to save money, these are excellect. I use these along with an older light bar I already have. Might buy me another one soon. Really adds to my mobile DJ gigs.

Q:
How long can i run these, before i have 2 turn them off, because of the heat,so they can coool down?1 answer
A:
These lights will be able to run for a while before getting too hot to do any damage. You shouldn't use these over 12 hours without powering down.Q:
Can these cans handle a higher watt bulb? How simple is it to change the bulbs? Also which gel frames would you recommend purchasing for this set up?1 answer
A:
I wouldnt reccommend using a higher watt bulb with these par cans. The bulbs are very easy to change, same as a traditional household light. The gel frames are included with this set.Q:
We are doing a stage production in a small church -- about 60 feet wide. There is some lighting for the small stage, but none for the side areas and the stage can use a little more. Last year we rigged a setup with pvc pipe and a high wattage (250) flood lamp, using one on each side of the stage. If I get this product, do I need two of them or can it be set so that some of the lights could cover the far side and some/one the near side?1 answer
A:
It all depends on how big your beam angle is on the flood lights you used last year. the Eliminator system should be good enough to cover up all 60 feet of space. But we do have many other options. Please call us at 1800-268-5200 for more information.Q:
Can this setup be used to create a lightning effect for a halloween grave yard setup? Lights triggered by a Lightning audio CD activating the on/off of the lights, If they can do all the lights come on at the same time or can you control just a couple to come on to give a lightning strike to the left and right side of a grave yard scene.1 answer
A:
From the package itself, you can only control them each individually or all at the same time with the controller. Perhaps a strobe light will give you a better lightning effect.Q:
We are a traveling troupe of five actors that perform usually on a stage of risers 16' wide and 8 ' deep. I need a portable system to just generally wash the stage so an audience of up to 150 can see the performance in a darkened banquet hall. Do you feel this system will provide enough light? Can we turn them on and off from backstage (behind a portable curtain)?1 answer
A:
This lighting package would be ideal for the events that you do.Q:
Does this system come with the cords? Do you need to purchase gels to cover the lights for color?1 answer
A:
Yes, the system comes with the cords. However, you need to purchase the gels separately. We have all these available.Q:
Can these lights be controled individually? Or do they all light together? Also does this set come with everything I need to run them ie Cables etc.1 answer
A:
they can be controlled individually and all together, give us a call if you would like more assistanceQ:
Can you recommend a simple inexpensive dimmer for the Eliminator Par 38 portable system1 answer
A:
A starting dimmer pack we have is the American DJ DP-DMX20-L 4 Channel DMX Dimmer Pack for $199.99.Q:
Is there any dimming capability at all, or are the lights just full on or full off?1 answer
A:
This light is full on and off. You would have to get the Par 38 DMX light to have it dimmed.Q:
If I purchase a pack of gel packs do I also need to purchase 4 gel frames to mount the gel packs?1 answer
A:
To keep a Gel in place you would need a mounting bracket
