      These are manufactured by the CTS Company for Fender for production in U.S. instruments which is one of the leading manufactures in potentiometers. Alpha is a different brand. These are an “A” or audio taper as opposed to “B” or linear taper which the audio taper would be used in passive guitar electronics and the linear taper is used generally in amplifiers and other higher voltage equipment.
