Comments about Fender Mustang III 100 Watt Guitar Modeling Amp +:
This isn't quite a high powered touring amp, but for the price, it has great flexibility and a pretty powerful sound. It has a circuit board with a good collection of digital effects, with 100 possible preset or programmable combinations. Though I'd like to get a few other specific effects, like a Crybaby or a good tube overdrive, this amp eliminates the need for a floor covered in pedals. According to the product info, the software which comes with it allows for recording to a computer. It has a mini-usb connection for that, but it doesn't work very well. The upside to that is if you can get the software working (I've seen it working on a friend's computer, but I could never get it to launch on my own) you have a number of other effects and sounds available on the software, which provides a digital amp with even more effects and customizable sounds. This amp has more than enough options for practicing in the shed with your buddies or fiddling in the back room by yourself. I like the mustangs. You could even save almost $90 and go with the mustang ii, and the only thing you'd lose is a little bit of speaker power and some of the presets.

this amp is really versatile! there are so many sounds you can get out of it, its overwhelming at times. the onbaord effects suffice, for experimenting at the least, but are nothing special. for its price range, and everything it offers, i can say confidently i recomend checking this amp out!
