Comments about On Stage Stands Flexible Gooseneck Extension - 6-Inch Black:
These are very well constructed, heavy steel goosenecks. Well made with very clean, close tolerance threads at both ends. Plenty stiff enough to keep a heavy mic in place.
I put a SM58 on one of these and it immediately began to sound just like a vintage C-12. Saved me thousands of dollars. :-)
Comments about On Stage Stands Flexible Gooseneck Extension - 6-Inch Black:
This is a high quality product. However, if you need a good deal of flexibility, get the 12" model. I used it on a mike extension attachment bar with an accoustic guitar. It worked very well, including the extension bar.

A:
Not sure what you are trying to "Tape on" but this is designed to hold a microphone. Microphones usually weight between 1-3lbs so I don't forsee it being a problem.Answered on 6/14/2010 by Dizzle from Cypress, CAVERIFIED BUYER
A:
The 6" gooseneck is quite stiff with little flexibility. I have not loaded it up with anything but a microphone, but it took a good amount of force to bend it into position. The total length of the unit is 6 " so the flex part is only about 4". It is a very good unit, but it is not designed for a lot of flex. If you need that, get the 12' one.Answered on 6/28/2010 by Musicman Fan from La Habra, CA
