Building upon the success of the NF-Series studio monitors, Fostex introduces the NX5A Powered Nearfield Studio Monitors designed to provide studios and DAW users with simply the best nearfield reference monitoring available. Using the latest radial papermaking technology, these 5 inch speakers make it possible to limit resonances in the bottom of the spectrum while a tweeter with a dome of 20mm deals with the high frequencies. The box is magnetically screened and the integrated amplification consists of 60W for the woofer and 40W for the tweeter. The tweeter has a variable range of + or - 3 dB, and at 55Hz there is a boost/cut of + or - 2 dB.
