Quite simply, this truss system does exactly what it is intended for and does it well. Like the other review, I have a similar setup but went a bit more wild with it adding extensions and such. It is the one piece of equipment I will never get rid of... unless a better one comes out!
Easy setup, easy teardown, and VERY high tech looking compared to all those cheap black things you see everywhere... you will get noticed!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought the Truss System 1 and am now adding more trussing to my setup. I can setup the entire trussing system with the extra pieces in less than 10 mins by myself. It has a great look. Very pro! I've owned trussing for over 15 years but this is the easiest system to setup. Way to go Global Truss!!!

Honestly, if you intend to do many gigs, I would leave this system in larger segments for ease of setup (if you can fit 3 X 8' truss segments in your vehicle). This is what I do and I leave all wires attached so its plug n' play. No bag needed.Answered on 4/18/2011 by LateNite DJ from CA

It wouldn't be compatible but...it's very easy to convert a plasma tv wall mount to work with this system. I did by using a $30 plasma tv wall mount and two Global Truss o-clamps. It was easy. If you want to use the GT-Plasma-MT-12 you'd have to drill out new holes on the pipe and use the o-clamps that are made for this system. With this system you will need Jr Mini Clamps. You can not go taller and wider with this system.
