Comments about Gemini DJ Gemini CDM3700G Pro Dual Karaoke CD/Mixer Console:
I love this product so much I am writting another review. When I first saw this unit it was the older version cdm 500 I loved it, compact, light, and basic. But when I saw the karaoke version I had to have it...This unit not only plays cdgs but also mp3 with the right tools so now I have the best of both worlds, I can run my laptop proffessionally and do karaoke as well, I use this unit the most and I get alot of compliments on this unit. Gemini could have made the cue button for both channels (good for beat matching & mixing),but thats ok because I use my laptop for that. Gemini has really come along way I been a loyal customer since 1981- present, pricing is lower than the other name brands, tech support is great, warranty needs to be longer like they were in the 90's. alot of people don't like GEMINI products they rather go with the higher name brands with higher prices, sometimes high price doesn't mean better product, and GEMINI has proven that to me over the years I have been dealing with them...

Comments about Gemini DJ Gemini CDM3700G Pro Dual Karaoke CD/Mixer Console:
I purchased this product because I wanted to dual deck CD+G player so I could queue up a song while another was playing. For the most part it works as advertised, but as I stated in the cons I have had problems with the video stream running while paused/cued so when you play the track the video is not synchronized with the audio making you need to restart the track without pause. This is a periodic problem but certainly annoying when it occurs. The trays also bang pretty loud when ejecting and closing but this is a bit of a nitpick. I also wish that it had the ability to use the jog dials for scratching. Overall I am still happy with the player and do recommend if the known caveats are not of major concern. I problably would not suggest it for a paying gig where perfection is needed because in my opinion you cannot rely on it to behave flawlessly with CD+G. I have not had any issues with CD playing at all but for this there is a less expensive version that does not include the CG+G capability. Overall, the features are good but as I stated before it would be nice to include scratching and better beatmatching tools but generally these are found only in much more expensive units so in all fairness this item is a good value for the features it does include.
