The unit I bought in April has been used at Corporate, School and Wedding Events. It skipped from once to multiple times at each event, playing new commercial and burned CD's. There were no bumps to the unit, just random skipping.
It also has a glitch during pause,if you cue and pause, then turn the volume to ready a transition, a continuous skipping sound can be heard at times.
In retrospect I should have returned it immediately it is probably a defective unit. I am buying a better unit today.

I recently got this unit and I must say it looks great, but what it is important is all the nice features this unit have, it is easy to use, it sounds great, and plus that you get the seamless looping function with reloop that works really nice. I think for [$] this cd player is the best compare to the american audio DCD PRO 310 and the stanton C500.

I recently purchased this setup, and I must say I am impressed. Gemini puts out a great product that looks good, for less money than most.
The only thing I have found that I would do a little different is that I would put a lock feature on the jog wheel. It can be very touchy, and I put my mixer above it on a slant rack, so sometimes when I reach for a knob, the wheel gets bumped and slightly skews the music. You have to be careful, and if you are, it is a great piece of equipment.
Overall, it is awesome, and it sounds great!
It's great for the starter or for a reliable back-up set in a rack.
