I have been Deejaying fro 15 years. I was looking for a new mixer with more options, and channels, with out spending a ton of money. This mixer fit's the bill. So far in using the mixer I have been impressed. The CS-o2 has very clear sound, with low noise. The sound features are easy to use, and smooth. However do not buy this mixer for the effects. On the first mixer I recieved the FX broke immediatly. On recieving the second mixer, the sound was still great, but the Fx's are unimpessive, and bleed through all the channels noticably, when on. Even on unselected channels.

I have had 2 of these units already. The first unit had a broken effect knob. When you turn the dial the digital display was scrambled. Needless to say, I returned that unit. The second unit that I received was working properly but that same knob felt cheap.
I don’t want to spend a lot of time on this review but here is the NUMBER ONE REASON that I DO NO RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
The effects are only supposed to apply themselves to the selected channel or the master. Well this is not the case. If you assign the affect to channel 3 (for example), and then move the wet/dry slider, you will hear the volume on the master out fade in and out quite a bit. It's tough to explain but there is some type of bleed through happening here. This is not acceptable even from a low-end manufacturer. I have since purchased a DJM-400 and I love it! It's worth having two channels and great sounding effects than being totally unsatisfied with this Gemini mixer.
By the way, the effects on this Gemini mixer sound terrible, They lower the volume considerably when applied. Just awful! The only affects that I liked were the filter and flanger.
