      RMS = Root Mean Square meaning the AVERAGE program handling capacity expressed in watts as opposed to peak power handling which applies to high transient instananeous peaks .
      This model shows:
      •Stereo @ 8ohms = 2 x 400W RMS
      •Stereo @ 4ohms = 2 x 550W RMS
      •Bridged @ 8ohms = 1100W RMS
      •Momentary Peak Output = 5000W

      8ohm = 400w 4ohm=550 this amp doesn't support a 2ohm load.
