This is the only pick I've used for about the last 20 years. Because it has three points on it, it lasts 3 times as long as a standard one- pointed pick. I've tried Fender wedge picks and they break easier. The Gibsons almost never break- they wear out first. Because the wedge picks have 3 picking 'points', if the pick starts to twist in your grip, it just twists to another 'point' and you can keep playing uninterrupted.

This is better than Fender's wedge picks. I almost never break these whereas Fender's break more easily. Because there are 3 points on the wedge, it lasts 3 times longer than a one pointed pick. If you lose your grip and the pick rotates, it just rotates to another pick point- something that doesn't happen with a one point pick. I've been using these picks for about 20 years.
