Solid mahogany body and neck, two P-90 pickups, wraparound tailpiece, and 2 volume and 2 tone controls with 3-way switching. This Custom Shop Historic Series re-creation duplicates the original at its finest. This is the single-cutaway version (there was also a 1960s double-cutaway) with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Nickel hardware.

it is very good for beginners,because it has a higher bridge,than some other guitars,such as fender stratocaster,and the strings are further away from the body,making it easier to play even without looking.the bridge is also good to rest your hand while playing,so it is,again,much easier to play single tones...the only flaw is a little fret buzz,but it goes away as the strings adjust to the guitar.you may also experience string buzz with fresh new strings...
