Some songs simply demand the intimate, subtle tones of a nylon string guitar. For those times when no substitute will do, Ibanez offers traditional classical models, such as the GA5, as well as modern acoustic-electrics with cutaways for easier upper-fret access. Our GA6 features a classical- sized cutaway body while the GA5TCE has a thinner body, narrow neck and a 14th fret body joint (instead of the traditional classical 12th fret). The GA60SECE features a resonant solid top that will improve with age. Nylon-string guitars are also easier on the fingers than their steel string counterparts, which makes them great student instruments. Unfortunately, many beginner classical guitars are more toy than real instrument. Which is why Ibanez offers the very affordable GA3, a true classical guitar with the real playability, quality and sound that a beginner needs for satisfaction and success.
