The EON's have been around for a while, and in all reality JBL is the poineer of the powered speakers. I have used these many a time in my business, and I Absolutly love them! They have more than enough power than I needed for a large high school cafetria, as a matter of fact, I had had the volume at 1/4 and had kids sayin the music was too loud. These are top notch speakers, from top notch people, and the price is really worth it. They are almost identical to mackies as far as sound quality goes...I really cant tell a diffrence between the two! Buy these and you will be glad you did.

These are very very expensive and overpriced especially when lower end brands like Behringer, who only have a couple good products can beat them in terms of sound quality. They can get loud but sound horrible for anything more than a low to mid volume, and overpriced at that, monitor.

im a mobile dj these were my first speakers and before i would not use them as loud butt now that i found out the strength of them the people seem to like the sound they put out.. in large rooms as well as small ones... one little con is that the screws get loose after a while and only once has the power cord came unplugged?

Great Product smalll and great to use. Easy to set up at dj'ing gig's. We use 4 Eon's and 2 Jbl subs and we can dj' Big Hall's and everything.

These are sick.....very sick! These are the first powered speakers that i ever bought and i will never own another passive....on the mic these make me sound so much more professional (not that i already am not) that was funny right? For real these are well worth the money...if u want some more pounding bass i suggest gettin the powered subs as well...prolly won't need em but that will be the icing..I will never buy from another company!

Pretty good speaker for the money. My buddy uses Mackie's. These are certainly comparible dollar for dollar. I do know that the Mackie's add another 50 watts for the highs. It's an unnecassary 50 watts, they're high enough. These are a really well balanced sounding speaker. They are front heavy so light weight stands aren't sufficient for safely throwing them up in the air. Get some heavy duty stands.

Nice that it has a "wedge" to tilt it back like a floor monitor. Several inputs with the built in mixer, I can also quickly eq the highs and low. Perfect monitor for my Roland Vdrums

Great sound lots of bass without the need for a sub . Can add on for larger rooms clear sound and lots of power. Has built in mixer and extra inputs.
