These speakers sound good for a relatively inexpensive system. However, at high power & with heavy bass the hardware will rattle a bit unless you constantly tighten the screws on the handles and the screens which is annoying. Overall I'd recommend them for the price, especially if you use them as I do, as caps for subs. I have a pair of Yamahas that I've had for 10+ years that have the same specs/cost/etc. that I would recommend more.

I've been using these speakers for years now as my main speakers. They are great sounding speakers, I baby them most of the time and Sometimes I will treat them like [*], and time and time again they work like champs! Don't get me wrong under PROS I put easy to FIX. You might or might not push them real hard, but I do and if you do you need to know how to fix them for Lil' Money. and you can. I bought new Diaphragms from [@] for ($21) I have replaced the Diaphragms/tweeters, only once, but a small price to pay ($21) for as often as I've used them. They put out clean Bass and amazing highs as do most JBL speakers! What can I say..."It's a JBL!" "Love EM!"

The best thing I like about the JRX series as a Mobile DJ is that they are powerful enough for even outsie events. Unique sound. I wish they had wheels so that it's easier to move around dance halls or stages.

I've been using these speakers for a few years now as my main speakers. They are great sounding speakers ,and pretty light as well. I have replaced the drivers for both tweeters , but a small price to pay for as often as I've used them. They put out an ample amount of Bass as well if you don't use subs, and have amazing highs as do most JBL speakers!
