I just got back into djing after a 10 year absence. I bought these from pssl. My first gig was rockin'! Nothing but clean, crisp highs & tons of bass. I recieved many compliments. The bad thing is that they are heavy, but well worth it! You can't go wrong with JBL!!!

Sounds great. But I Bi-Amped my 4 JRXs and have 4 Cerwin Vega's for my lows and they sound even more Better. crisper Highs and fuller mids. You just got to know what you are doing. I Want to buy 2 more in the future..

I bought them used becease the previous owner did not know how to use them.these are work horses. i use them as tops with ev 18 subs. kills any venue i do. great clear sound. you can take the club where ever you want with these

These speakers sound great! Depending on how large the event, you can leave the subwoofer(s)s at home. Although a bit heavy, setup is simple with these speakers because no poles are needed. Just make sure you have an amp that can provide about 600 to 750w RMS per side @ 4 ohms because these speakers get power thirsty.

I got 2 of these and am pushing them with the Behringer EP4000. These handle it like a champ. When I got them I test run them at the mid size club I DJ at, they literally knocked stuff off the wall. I had people come in saying they could hear me outside the club in front of us (bout 75+yards away). By the end of the weekend the other club owner shut down early cause I drowned out his dj. The only downside is their weight and they could use wheels on the bottom. But if you have a dolly then no problems. This things are so awesome, I'll be getting 2 more pushed by another Behringer EP4000. They will be accompanied by 2 JBL SRX728S powered by 2 Behringer EP2000.

I use this speakers a lot! I have a pair of them and I run them with a Crown XS 700 power amp and this thing is loud! I have used them from small to larger venue, just this setup and it is amazing, you cannot go wrong with these at all, I expected less quality from them, but when I bought them, I was blown away, and I do not need to buy subs to hear bass, I can actually now hear it after I have bought these, and they are easy to connect and set-up. Their is NO DJ in town that has this besides me, and 3 of them now want to work with me! So don't wait longer, be herd from blocks away!

The sound really surrounds you. This is a great speaker for the value. I compared them to various other brands in a music superstore and these stood out on their own. Almost twice the music and untouchable clarity. Live performance CD's will bring reality into your room. I thought I could actually touch the instruments.
