The MRX525 is an excellent choice when the application calls for high performance and simplicity. A pair of MRX525s and a single, high-power amplifier is a complete sound system capable of reinforcing bass and kick drum or playing high-level music in clubs and other venues. The MRX525 is comprised of two 15" 265H Differential Drive? woofers with combined power handling of 800 watts (continuous). For the high frequencies, 2408H 1.5" annular polymer diaphragm, neodymium compression driver is mounted to a 70? x 70? horn. The 70? coverage angle of the MRX525 is wide enough to provide coverage of an audience when used one-per-side yet narrow enough to allow splaying of multiple enclosures without excessive coverage overlap. The enclosure is constructed of quality plywood and coated in JBL's rugged DuraFlex? finish. The attractive CNC-machined, 16-gauge steel grille wraps around the sides of the enclosure. The grilles are internally lined with an acoustically transparent screen to provide additional driver protection and give a very professional appearance.

GREAT SPEAKERS, THE ONLY BAD THING IS, I HAVE BLOWN THE HIGHS TWICE IN BOTH OF THE SPEAKERS THAT I OWN WHILE DOING A PARTY. NO THE SYSTEM DID NOT CLIP, AND THE HIGHS WHERE SET AT 11:00 IN THE CHANNEL. THE TWEETERS COST RIGHT AT $ 180 TO GET THEM FIXED. TRYING TO REACH JBL TO GIVE ME MORE INSIGHT ON WHY THIS HAS HAPPENED. THAT IS THE ONLY CON ISSUE FROM ME. I LOVE THESE SPEAKERS JUST NEED TO GET PAST THE TWEETER ISSUE.

I've had many types of speakers and by far, none rate like the quality of a JBL MR Series!!! Whether you're doing a house gig or a huge venue, the sound is tremendous and clean!!! You'll drive your crowd wild with the Sound Vibrations that come out of these speakers!

A:
I suggest running a Crown or QSC amp that pushes 1600w at 4ohms per channel for 2 of these speakers.A:
qsc RMX-2450A:
A qsc 2450 isn't a good fit. To little power in stereo and not really stable or safe at a 2ohm load when running a pair of these. The perfect fit would be a pair of rmx 1850's running bridged. Plus two 1850's would be fairly cheap. BUT kind of heavy. A 4050 is a great stereo fit as is the 5050. BUT 20 amps needed to truly run the 5050.
