WOW! These speakers are just awesome! When I first plugged them in, I noticed the sound quality first and it is impressive. The clarity of the highs and the tight bass is just not able to be explained. You need to hear them for yourself! Make sure you get these. I'm going to get the Subs next for sure!

These speakers are by far the best investment I have ever made in my 10 years in the business!!! I recently invested in the EON515's, but sadly I was not happy with the power. So I invested into the PRX515 to test the top Powered Speaker class of JBL, WOW!!! If this review would allow 8 stars I would give it 10. The power is beyond the Eons and can compare to my Dual 15" B52's powered by my RMX2450 by QSC. Very light, look is attractive and the sound is Ridiculous for their size! If you don't have the money to afford these, find it! You will not be unsatisfied with your investment!

These speakers are compact and very lightweight. They produce a great sound. I have them connected to the PRX-718 Powered Sub by JBL. All of it together sounds great and produces more than enough sound for a larger wedding or School dance. (Thats all I've used them for) I would expect them to work great for a mobile band as well. They also look very nice all lite up. For the money it can't be beat.

After owning JBL eon's I was hesitant in getting another pair so when I went shopping for new powered speakers I didn't even think about looking at the PRX line. I had my mind set on the QSC's. After going to my local music store to hear the QSC's they sounded great but were 100lbs each!!!! I'm not a small guy but trying to lift 100lbs onto speaker stands every week did not sound like fun so the salesman suggested the PRX515's. They were the same price and only weight 57lbs and sounded just as good. Long story short these really are the best speakers for this price range, I have gotten numerous compliments by other dj's, you can CRANK these up and not worry about distortion or clipping or shutting down. None of that, I even dropped one off a table that was 5ft high, of course it no longer worked but when I took it to the repair shop they said that the amp plug came loose so they just had to plug it back in, dropped it off a 5ft table and it didn't even sustain any major damage, rugged!! If you have G2's or Mackies SRM450's or are thinking about buying them PLEASE do yourself a favor and spend the few extra bucks and get these, you will not be disappointed.

When I was shopping for a new set of powered speakers,I started to look at another set of Mackies,noticed the JBL's next to them,sure they are more money,but they completely blew away every other powered speaker on display.Mackies,no match,QSC's,oh please!I will be trading in my Mackie's,and trading up to JBL's.I'm an old school DJ who truly enjoys great sound,and can't wait to trade up to JBL!Like I said,You get what you pay for!
