Taking a page from high performance hot rod design, JBL filled the smallest possible cabinet with the highest possible power capacity. Especially suited for subwoofer equipped systems, the JBL SRX722 delivers very high acoustic output from a compact, easily transported system. A pair of 2262H Differential Drive woofers handles 1200 watts (continuous) of power. Top these off with the world-class, 2451H 4" compression driver and you have big PA performance that fits easily into a sport utility vehicle.

Very high power! Very good sound! Feed tons of power to it like a qsc plx 3602. Or a crown xti 4000 to each speaker and you will have a very high output.speaker!! Great for out doors and very small. Yet its turbo charged on sound!!If this speaker dont sound good for you!! Please have your ears check!! Maybe you get muddy sound from poor ear health!!i had a tough time chossing from the EV qrx and the Jbl srx! ! But i believe i did the right move!!i love them i owne 4 of them and 4 srx 728!! I am very happy!!

We carry 10 of these for our out door events for 8,000 + people. They are very outstanding with Quality For our bands that come to preform. Don't get me wrong we carry JBL VRX. But the SRX 7 series Do same work as the VRX. Very Very Very! LOUD!!!

Knowledge of sound reinforcement basics are required to achieve quality sound from these speakers. Best used in pairs in small venues for vocals and some instruments except for drums, organ, and bass guitar.
Use in multiple pairs with JBL SRX728s in larger venues. 2 = 2 cabinets with 2 18" speakers per cabinet. 4 = 4 cabinets with 2 18" speakers per cabinet ( 3 pairs would be better )....
Do NOT skimp on the amplifier wattage ( suggest Crown 5000 minimum for the subs and Crown 3600 for the tops ) and a quality crossover/signal processor such as a dbx. ... Read and understand the manual!
Yes; there are other speaker/cabinets available that sound better but can you afford them?

Look, I know jbl has been around for ages, but every year they come out with a new product the sound quality goes down, as well as the durability. When i first purchased these when i plugged them in, i thought the highs were already blown becuase the sound was so muddy! I understand this is a dual woofer set up and you will get a little more mids and lows with these, but to lose all highs isnt worth it! The construction is ok, but other than that i wish i would have never purchsed these!
