JBL STX828S Dual 18-Inch Bass Reflex Subwoofer

The STX800 Series was designed to bridge the space between light-duty portable PA speakers and flown full-size line array tour sound systems. Our goals at the inception of this project were simple: Offer a high performance, high density system solution in a truck-pack friendly format. Develop concert-worthy floor monitors and side fills that could affordably complement any touring sound system. Deliver an affordable, great sounding subwoofer that could reproduce true low frequency at elevated sound pressure levels. With four full-range systems and two subwoofers, the STX Series can cover just about any professional application. Whether you’re in need of ancillary speakers for a full-blown tour sound system, ground-stacking for a live concert performance, installing speakers in dance clubs or performance venues, touring clubs with your band, or you are a performing mobile DJ, STX800 Series is the smart choice.

Pros: Easy To Set Up,Great Sound Quality,Attractive Design,Good Power Output
Cons: Heavy / Bulky

I DJ Dancehall, reggae, and hip hop. I have done small to big venus with just one sub. I have it paired with a crown xti4002. 2 prx635. The two high bring out clear hi-s and then you have this monster bass coming out off this cabinet. wow!!!! I will be getting another pair soon.

Pros: Great Sound Quality,Good Power Output,Attractive Design
Cons: Heavy / Bulky

I had one and loved the bass output. But now WOW!!! This cabinet just add more chest thumping clothes moving bass. I have one on a crown XTI 4002 and one on a QSC Rmx 4050. I know to complete different AMPS. That is what I have to work with as of now. But when they both start thumping yes sir, you will feel the bass.

BEST ANSWER: This speaker definetly has a whole lot more punch. This is one of the most phenominal subwoofers on the market right now.
