I use the Littlelites for DJ use. We have a very dark DJ booth and having the gooseneck lights put the light where you need it most - on the turntables, CD players, mixing board, and records/CD's. All the important areas a DJ has to work in. At home I have them shining on my turntables and they work great. They have a long life, but if you have some rough handling DJ's the lights can burn out. They are a tad bit expensive, but definitely worth it. I didn't know they have color filters for these and I'm going to look into some later on. Always when replacing these lights you use a soft cloth to replace them so the oil from your fingers do not touch the lamp. If they do, you will shorten the life of the lamp.
