Comments about M-Audio By Avid M-Audio CX5 Powered Studio Monitor Each (Refurb):

I will say that from the moment I first picked up one of these studio monitors, I knew they were going to sound great. They have a very durable, professional build that you notice the moment you hold one. They are heavier than they look.

They are not intended to be the loudest speakers out there. These are studio MONITORS, not PA speakers. If you're wanting audiphile-quality, accurate sound reproduction, and you don't need all the neighbors to hear you, these are INCREDIBLE.

Comments about M-Audio By Avid M-Audio CX5 Powered Studio Monitor Each (Refurb):

This is a super monitor for karaoke singers! It's small and lightweight, with easy-to-customize sound level switches. As a monitor, we keep the volume fairly low, but it can produce high-quality big sound when we use it as a party speaker. Love it!

You can Indeed. These speakers have 1/4" input on the back so you would need a conector that goes from a stereo 1/8" (head phone jack) to two 1/4" (guitar jack).

You should be able to use a standard 1/8" stereo to RCA unbalanced cord.
