To the DJ who experienced a pitch control problem on one deck using VDJ: This is a problem with VDJ, not the hardware. I used to use Virtual DJ and dumped it because of exactly this issue, and I wasn't using a controller at the time. I use PCDJ Red now, and all is well.

Comments about M-Audio By Avid M-Audio X-SESSION-PRO DJ Mixer Style Controller:
This little controller just plain gets the job done. To appreciate this controller, you have to accept it for what it is: a cheap, entry level controller for beginners to digital DJing. It does exactly what it says it does and nothing more. Yes, it feels plastic-y, or doesn't have the looping, hot cueing, and sampling controls like higher end controllers, but for the price, it works well.
Its compact size makes it easy to throw in my laptop bag and head to a party. Full MIDI compliance, means it works with all sorts of different DJ software, but I love the included Torq LE software.
Overall, this is a nice little controller for a nice little price. It doesn't have the features of a high-end controller, but it doesn't have the price of a high-end controller.
Pros
- Accurate Controls
- Easy To Use

Comments about M-Audio By Avid M-Audio X-SESSION-PRO DJ Mixer Style Controller:
I own and love this Controller. I've owned it for a week now and it came out to be better than i expected. The only thing i do experience that i don't like is when i am using it with Virtual DJ after a while one of the decks become slower than the other 1 even though they both appear to be matched up but maybe its not the controller. It could be my PC or some compatibility issues going on somewhere. Other then that this is a great controller for anyone and if u are a beginner this is worth every penny you spend on it. It runs flawless with the bundled software but being that i am a more experienced DJ i would rather use Virtual DJ with it. Bottom line go out and buy one!!!

Comments about M-Audio By Avid M-Audio X-SESSION-PRO DJ Mixer Style Controller:
Worked perfectly out of the box with my current software with no driver installation. Unit constructed with just plastic so I question long term durability. Need to find a way to keep it stable if using it for live performance because it will move all around on you if don't secure it down do to the light weight. I use velcro and it solved the problem. All controls are the fixed range type so if you want to use the knobs for scratching or cd type data wheels it is nearly impossible.
