Comments about Mackie 2000W 12" Powered Subwoofer:
These speakers are pretty revolutionary. The concept of a compact sub is nothing new, but it's definitely been achieved and then some in Mackie's new DLM12S Compact 12" subwoofer. The first time I came across this sub was in the PSSL showroom in cypress. I walked into some hip hop with clean highs and fat punchy bass. I walked right by these trying to figure out what speakers the lows were coming from. Looking at some of the bigger speakers but to my surprise this little guy was putting out some seriously low seriously loud bass. Bought a pair of these right on the spot. These work out great and for crowds of less than 500 the DLM12S pair is all I need for bass. Thanks ProSound and Mackie for showin me these tiny monsters.

1.) Overall dimensions of the Mackie 2000W 12" Powered Subwoofer?
2.) For a typical venue that seats about 200 people, would I need two of these subwoofers? Or, would one suffice?

Hello, the dimensions on this subwoofer are 17.9" x 16.4" x 17.9". One of these subwoofers for a venue of about 200 people should be fine if you use it with a couple full range speakers.
