Comments about Martin Professional Martin SCX-700 DMX Color Scanner (CDM-150):
I think this is a good light overall and it defiantly is brighter then I though it would be. The 150W arc lamp and glass reflector do a good job cutting threw the fog. There are only two things I hate about this light and that is the stepper motors are low quality and there is no continuous gobo scrolling. When moving the mirror at very low speed the movement is not smooth unlike a Trackspot for example. There is no dimmer function on the lights I have but Martin came out with a new software version that adds a dimmer function. Just make sure when you buy the light it has software version 1.2
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
