purchased to supplement stage floor monitor system for live use. even with enormous amounts of power fed to it, it is inaudible in all but the quietest of settings. I did not read the specs before purchasing. The SPL is 90dB. Pathetic output rating. Remember, a 3 dB increase equals a perceived twofold increase in loudness. So, my other monitors, rated at 99dB sound 6 times as loud with the same power applied.
