Better than expected
Pros: Clear Sound,Inexpensive

Since I'm not a professional, I didn't want to spend a lot of money to improve the sound of my videos. I went with the assumption that having a shotgun microphone, even a low cost one would still be far better than using the built-in mic. I was right, the sound was MUCH better, so I bought 2 of them (my Zoom H4N recording unit has 2 XLR inputs).

I also have an Azden SGM-2X, and although there is a bit more body in the Azden, the Nady was almost as good, and 10x cheaper.

Good product for a reasonable price.
Pros: Lightweight,Easy To Use,Clear Sound
Cons: Breaks Easily

A a film maker, I use this microphone as my main shotgun microphone in my blimp. I've owned three of these microphones in the past. I've had to replace a couple of them after they were dropped and didn't work any longer. But for the low cost, this is an acceptable loss.

The microphones do perform well under most conditions and are excellent microphones for the price.

Crazy Price for a Shotgun Microphone
Pros: Easy To Use,Lightweight,Clear Sound,Versatile

I use this as part of an extremely portable field recording set up and have had some really nice results so far.
The Nady SGM12 Shotgun Mic is connected to my field recorder via XLR to 1/8" mini jack cable.
XLR (F) from the Shotgun Mic, 1/8" to the line input of the recorder.
The SGM12 Shotgun Mic uses a small mic clip; unfortunately NOT included with the Boom Pole or Microphone. I had to source an extra mic clip within my own personal pro audio kit to get by.
For a more professional look invest in a Shotgun Shockmount.
However, be advised that some Shockmounts can cost as much as, if not a bit more than the MBP-7000 Boom Pole.
My field recorder is mounted to the Boom Pole by using the On Stage Stands TM01 Table Clamp and CM01 camera adapter.
There may be better clamp options out there; but this is what I came up with and it works well for me.
