The AVM02 offers separate, replaceable DJ crossfaders for audio and video with linked mode operation and slope control, Chroma Key (blue screen) and Luma Key (black screen) capability for superimposing images, plus numerous fades, wipe patterns, picture-in-picture (PIP) capability, and two video effects sections. While this unit is great in terms of its overall funtionality, it is my feeling that it is very poorly made. My company has purchased several of these AVM 02 units as well as several AVM 01 units before these. We have had problems with all of them. While Numark is willing to work with us to resolve the problem, that does not help you very much in the middle of busy season when you need the gear to work every time. I have had problems with this unit "Freezing" on me several times. Numark replaced it with a new one and we had the same issue. There is nothing that points to user error so we don't think it is us. If this thing worked the way it was intended, it would be awsome. My experience however, is that it is not reliable at all. Stay away from this unit.
